HIVbase Region Definitions
Periodically , Gene Johnson, Inc. will make changes to the information that is used
to automatically identify regions of interest in sequences within HIVbase. This
automatic identification of regions is a cornerstone of HIVbase and distinguishes
it from other software products available today. Gene Johnson strives to ensure
that this identification is robust, accurate and efficient. To that end, we are
constantly testing, evaluating and modifying our techniques for region identification.
